Here are a few tidbits about our head chef and creative director, Heather.
While working part time in a local bakery in 2008, Heather Wong discovered her passion for pastry.
Born of Mexican and Chinese descent, this LA native credits her heritage for inspiring diverse and novel flavor pairings.
She has since worked the line in pastry programs throughout Los Angeles, most notably at the acclaimed Bottega Louie and Cascabel.
She established and supervised the pastry program at Sweetsalt in Los Angeles, which led to shepherding additional sister restaurant programs over the next 5 years.
Currently a contributing Pastry Chef for Disney Family and Dreamworks, Heather develops recipes for Disney's original video and editorial content.
She has appeared on Food Network, Martha Stewart, Sweet Paul Weddings, 100 Layer Cake, and Green Wedding Shoes.
